Corporate Profile

Evergreen Pulp, Inc. (EPI) was formed in January 2005 through the acquisition of the pulp mill facility located in Samoa, just west of Eureka, California. This strategic position, on a deepwater port midway between San Francisco and Seattle, affords EPI a great advantage in the global pulp marketplace, with easy access to Asia, Europe, South America and North America.

Evergreen Pulp, Inc. has the capacity to produce over 200,000 tons of Totally Chlorine Free (TCF) and unbleached Kraft pulps annually.

Energy conservation and cost effectiveness are addressed by producing 95% of the electricity used in the manufacturing operation. Additional steps have been taken to reduce natural gas consumption. Further, an energy conservation program has been instituted in other areas of the facility.

We are committed to making the community and the world a better place.
